Our wines carry JJ for the two Jeannes. MM is for two middle names: Mervyn, for Lord Davies, and Marie, for Lady Jeanne. It is the rarest wine we make: a red from our family vineyard in the Luberon, Provence, made from 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache and aged for eleven years before release. Time has given it a nose of leather, tobacco, ripe plum and forest floor. On the palate it is very refined and fairly dry, with the gentle warmth of its 15% alcohol.
