We are Domaine des Jeanne and we want to bring the Provençal experience to you; immerse you in the fragrance, taste and style of summer in the part of France where the mountains meet the ocean.
We are a family business and believe there is nothing better than those gatherings with loved ones to celebrate that special occasion. Our own experiences tell us that there is no better way to do this than over a crisp, fresh glass of Provence rosé wine.
This is the end of our first year and it has been such a whirlwind; we want to thank all of our new wine family who have supported, bought, promoted, loved and drunk our rosé blend. It’s been great that in a short space of time, we have sold almost all of our 2012 stock and are now firming up plans for next year’s run.
Our very own winemaker, Alexandre Samour, has been working tirelessly since Mervyn Davies purchased the land in March 2012. Along with our dedicated team in France, he has nurtured, harvested and produced this stunning blend. Based on our and your experience of the wine this year, Alex is now putting the finishing touches to next year’s wine. We are working hard and have set ourselves the not so insignificant task of producing a product superior to this year’s wine.
When sampling Domaine des Jeanne rosé, one cannot help but notice it’s vivid, clear, pale salmon colour with an open nose of red and white fruit and notes of citrus. It has a fresh and balanced palate and is finely fruity.
We have worked hard in this first year to get our wine to the people who we believe will enjoy it the most. This has seen us provide stock to restaurants, bars, members clubs and independent wine merchants in London, France, the South Coast of England and Abersoch in Wales.
For us, next year is all about growth, expanding the business and bringing the Provence way of life to our clientele ( – wherever you are).
